Chickadee Newsletter Week of 12/3/2018
Good Afternoon Chickadee Families,
Happy Hanukkah! This week has been all about Hanukkah. We read Hanukkah books, made menorahs, painted Star of David’s and played with dreidels.
We have been singing “Jingle Bells,” “I have a little Dreidel,” “Feliz Navidad,” and “5 Little Gingerbread Men” at our circle time.
Next week we will be having chips, salsa and guacamole, that the kids will help make, in honor of the Mexican holiday tradition Feast of Our Lady Guadalupe. Parents are welcome to come join us for lunch. We will be celebrating St. Lucia Day on Thursday.
Our hearing screening was postponed until next week. I am attaching the consent form for the dental screening that Kristen sent out. Forms need to be submitted by next Wednesday the 13th if you wish for your child to participate on the 18th.

I have to say thank you to all our parents who have been so good about bringing adequate snow gear for your kiddo’s. I have never had a class as on top of it as this one! I think I am the only one in the class who still needs snow pants. Remember, we go outside even down to 18*! I do my best to get everyone’s gear back in the appropriate cubbies; please write names in all clothing and double check that the things you are taking home do belong to your child.

Have a wonderful weekend!
– Miss Ari
